Word: Catch (v.)
Definition: to freeze, usually temporarily

Usage: "The pipes caught in our cellar last night. My husband forgot to plug in the heat tapes."
"Well, you can't do nawthin' about the weather. And in six months, it'll be hot enough to knock up a goat."
