Word: Spider (N.)

Definition: lobster (on the coast); a frying pan (inland)


Usage:

The latter kind of spider (a frying pan) must be of cast iron, seasoned by servicing crockfuls of salt pork, hundreds of trout, and dozen hind quarters of deer. It should be wiped clean, never washed in detergent.
