Definition: to consume, to impel---often to excess
Usage:
“Hot day for fat folks, ain’t it?”
“Sure is. Must be ninety in the shade. Man ought to just hole up down sulla and bail the cider to him.”
Or:
“By the looks of that front end, them young fellas must have been bailing it right to her when they went off the road.”
