Wednesday's Word
formerly known as the "What're Words For..."

Word: Sulla (N)
Definition: cellar or basement

Usage:
Usually preceeded by "down". Holman Day wrote a fine verse about an old feller who breaks his wife's pet jug--and nearly his own neck--when he goes down sulla to fetch his nightly cider. She is very concerned--about the jug.
