Buying Clothes to Help the Less Fortunate, GOP-Style
As you’re all aware by now, the McCain/Palin campaign spent $150,000 on clothes for Mrs Palin to wear at the various events she’s attending trying to brainwash…I mean…convince Americans that the ticket she’s part of is the right one to vote for on November 4th.
This money for the clothes came out of their campaign funds somewhere, so I wonder whose money was used to buy these clothes? Was it money from a rich donor, or from a donor with only a little money to their name but felt the obligation to support their party by giving some of their hard-earned cash to McCain/Palin?
Over the weekend, however, the McCain camp did justify the purchase of the clothes by saying that they had uprooted Sarah Palin from her normal routine by putting her on the GOP ticket as the VP candidate. They mentioned also that the Palin’s are not a wealthy family and that they wanted to help her out. So in effect, they took money from the wealthy and gave it to the less wealthy to help her make purchases of items she couldn’t otherwise afford.
Hmmmmm….taking money from the wealthy and giving it to the less fortunate. Spreading the wealth around, in other words. Sounds like Socialism to me. The Republican Party supporting Socialsim. Gotta tell yah...I didn't see that comin'.

Since we're on the subject of politics, you absolutely must watch this amazing speech from Obama. He may be the greatest public speaker of our generation.
