Wednesday's Word
formerly known as "What're Words For..."

Phrase: Pork, had the (v.)
Definition: in bad trouble

Rather curiously, the opposite of "finest kind of pork"

Usage example:
"Yessuh, when that warden found them twelve short lobsters under the life cushions, I knew I'd had the pork."

(Definition from: "How To Talk Yankee", by Gerald Lewis & Tim Sample, copyright 1979, 1986 by The Thorndike Press; copyright 1989 by the First North Country Press)

Not a real lobster...

Hahaha! Do you remember one of my readers was the lobster messiah and accordingly went by TLM? I wonder if that's him!

Hey, there's another 3 letter prefix...dammit, doesn't work either. You're taxing my brain!

You're probably feeling very guilty now, as well you should, but I'll let you off the hook if you do one thing for me. What's that you ask? Post a new LOST recap ASAP!
