Wednesday's Word

Word: Yo! (Interj.)
Definition:  Hail

Usage: Used when trying to locate someone who is at a distance -- down in the far pasture, maybe, or lost in the woods -- because of the sound's carrying qualities.

Shorter form employed to stop a passing vehicle when you recognize an occupant and remember you wished to speak to him.
