Did you know that on June 21st, Maine became the first state in the country to honor Native American veterans? Enacted by the Maine legislature and signed by the governor in April, June 21st of each year will be known as Native Americans Veterans Day and will honor the sacrifices made by Native Americans to the country.

It's about time.
